SMX Series

The SMX series is an extension of VTI’s award-winning EX1200 series switch family. Designed using the same core philosophy of high-density without compromising on performance, the SMX brings instrument grade switching capability to PXI Express for the first time. Our SMX switch cards encompass everything from power switching to the widest range of microwave switching in the PXI platform. Our drivers and support software provide standard operation in Windows, Linux, and LabView but add additional capability through our award winning GUI.

SMX-2002 (Power)

Ideally suited for medium-to-high density automated test equipment (ATE), the SMX-2xxx Series provides uncompromised measurement integrity ideal for the most demanding aerospace, defense and automotive automated test system (ATE) applications.

SMX-3XXX (Multiplexers)

SMX-4XXX (Matrix Switches)

The SMX-4xxx Series of matrix cards deliver exceptional performance and reliability by implementing extensive signal path shielding, isolation and built-in health monitoring. SMX-7XXX (Microwave)

The SMX-7xxx Series of microwave switch cards extends functionality typically reserved for dedicated stand-alone systems into the PXIe from-factor. Single and dual slot configurations provide the ability to mix and match multiple switch configurations including SPDT, SP4T, SP6T and Transfer.
